St. Croix is a scuba diver's paradise ranking among the top dive spots of the Caribbean. With more than 50 impressive dive sites including wall dives, wreck dives and offshore beach dives, St. Croix is the Caribbean's best kept underwater secret. World class diving amidst pristine seas housing a world of coral and marine life create an underwater wonderland for avid scuba divers and snorkelers alike. In the protected reef waters off St. Croix lie the underwater gardens of the Caribbean. Sea fans, brain coral, sea stars, Elkhorn coral and black coral formations are found at depths of less than 60 feet. Hundreds of tropical fish, rare species of sea turtles, lobsters, spotted eagle rays, and other large marine life are commonly sighted inhabitants.

You do not have to be a scuba
diver to enjoy the spectacular sea life. The azure blue waters surrounding
Buck Island offers the only underwater National Park, and is well worth the short boat ride
from St. Croix. Many visitors consider the boat trip and snorkeling trails that lie
beneath the crystal clear turquoise waters of Buck Island to be the most
memorable part of their trip and a "must do" excursion. Those
who do not dive or snorkel can relax on the beautiful
white sand beach and soak
up the rays. You won't find a prettier beach anywhere.
